We  collect personal information only when it is reasonably necessary to  provide professional travel advisory and booking services.


Information you provide directly

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Mailing address
  • Travel preferences and interests
  • Travel details and itinerary information
  • Loyalty or frequent-traveller numbers (airlines, hotels, cruise lines)
  • Communications with us (emails, phone calls, messages)


Booking & Identity Information (when required)

For the purpose of making travel arrangements, we may collect and securely store:

  • Passport details
  • Date of birth
  • Emergency contact information
  • Personal health and fitness information
  • Credit card information (for booking and payment authorization only)


This information is collected only when required and is stored within our secure customer relationship management system (Tres CRM) or transmitted securely to travel suppliers or payment processors.


How We Use Personal Information

  • Plan, arrange, and manage travel services
  • Make bookings with airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and other travel suppliers
  • Process payments and authorize charges, where applicable
  • Communicate with you regarding your travel

  • Meet legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations


Credit Card & Payment Information

Credit card information is collected solely for the purpose of processing travel bookings or payments.

  • We use industry-standard security safeguards and access controls
  • Where possible, payment information is transmitted directly to travel suppliers or secure payment processors


Lavish Adventure Travel does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

If  you choose to subscribe to marketing communications,  we may send you travel inspiration, updates, and offers.

  • Subscription is opt-in
  • You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in our emails or by contacting us directly
  • We comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and applicable U.S. laws


Sharing Personal Information

We may share personal information only as necessary to provide travel services, including with:

  • Airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and destination partners
  • Virtuoso Ltd., our global luxury travel network
  • Technology providers that support our operations (including CRM and secure payment systems)

We do not sell personal information.


International Transfers

Some  travel suppliers, technology providers, and partners (including  Virtuoso) are located outside Canada, including in the United States.

As a result, personal information may be processed or stored outside  Canada and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We take  reasonable contractual and organizational measures to protect personal  information transferred internationally.


Website Security

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies beyond what is required for website security and functionality.


Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide travel services
  • Maintain client and booking records
  • Meet legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations

When personal information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
